Engineer Kapumha is a highly experienced senior business leader with over three decades of experience across various industries in Zimbabwe. He has held prominent roles in manufacturing, telecommunications, real estate, infrastructure, medical insurance, and consulting. His career includes positions like Commercial Director at Telecel Zimbabwe, Managing Director at BMA fasteners and General Beltings, and serving as a Turnaround CEO for the Road Contractor Company in Namibia. He was also the Director for Africa at the global engineering firm GIBB, overseeing infrastructure projects in Nigeria, Lesotho, and Tanzania. Kapumha is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and holds several professional memberships and qualifications. He has served on the boards of the National Oil Infrastructure Company and ZB Building Society, where he chaired the Loans Review Committee, and his engineering background and executive experience make him a valuable contributor to the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) on technical, legal, and operational matters.
Engineer Chakanyuka joined the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe as an Engineer in June 2004.He rose through the ranks to the position of Technical Director and the acting CEO. Before joining the Authority, he worked for Zimbabwe Broadcasting Holdings as a Maintenance Engineer. Engineer Chakanyuka actively participates in the work of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) through its study groups and World Radio Communication Conferences including Regional Planning Conferences on digital satellite and terrestrial broadcasting.
Susan Makombera has worked at BAZ since June 2004, starting as an officer and rising through the ranks to becoming a director in April 2021. She has also worked at the Ministry of Information and ZBC in various capacities and has over 30 years of experience in the media industry. She holds a notable number of certificates including, National Intermediate Diploma in Journalism, a Certificate in Shorthand WPM, and a Diploma in Regulation and Freedom of Expression, among other certificates.
Zvidzai Masukusa is an ICT Manager at the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe. He holds a BSc in Computer Science, an MSc in Information Systems, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management. He has also earned various ICT certifications. Prior to his current role, he worked as an ICT intern at Puzey and Payne and as an ICT Specialist at the Zimbabwe Institute of Legal Studies. He later became the ICT Manager at Reformed Church University. In 2015, he joined the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe as a Project Engineer during the Digital Terrestrial Migration Project
Donald Zengeya holds Bachelor in Applied Accountancy (Oxford Brookes), Advanced diploma in Accountancy (ACCA),Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (Bulawayo Polytechnic)and ACCA Finalist. Mr Zengeya has extensive experience in control environment ,risk management and Governance having spent the bulk of his post qualification career in Finance and Auditing. Previously he was an Accountant for Cold Storage Company (CSC), Senior Auditor for Office of the Auditor General. Mr Zengeya was appointed to the position of BAZ Audit Manager in April 2016.Mr Zengeya is also a member to institute of Internal Auditors Zimbabwe and Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professional (USA).
Vimbai Takawira is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) professional with a background in supporting the development and execution of M and E systems in the information and media sector. She possesses sound knowledge of the Integrated Results Based Management System (IRBM) and is skilled in strategic planning, programme monitoring and evaluation, qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, and management including the use of the Whole of Government Performance Management System (WGPMS). Vimbai joined the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) in 2020 as an Information/ M and E Officer. She was later appointed as the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager in 2023. Vimbai holds a Master of Social Science in Monitoring and Evaluation (2021) and a Bachelor of Social Science in Media and Society Studies. She is also a member of the Zimbabwe Evaluation Society
